El gobierno de Milei: surgimiento y aproximación desde un enfoque multiescalar y multidimensional
En diciembre de 2023 Javier Milei llegó a la presidencia para emprender un conjunto de transformaciones profundas en los más diversos planos de la sociedad argentina. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el surgimiento, triunfo y gestión del gobierno de Milei desde un enfoque multiescalar y multidimensional. Daremos cuenta para esto de los cambios en las relaciones de fuerzas y el escenario de crisis y disputa hegemónica tanto en la escala mundial como latinoamericana, delineando una periodización de la guerra regional de posiciones en el siglo XXI, para enfocarnos luego en la escala nacional. Indagaremos allí acerca de las dimensiones políticas, ideológicas y culturales que habilitaron su triunfo, para detenernos en la estrategia económica. Asimismo, daremos cuenta de la estrategia de coerción y construcción de consenso desplegada, debatiendo sus alcances y los endebles pilares económicos y sociales sobre los que se asienta.
The Milei government: emergence and analysis from a multiscalar and multidimensional approach
In December 2023, Javier Milei assumed the presidency with the aim of undertaking a set of profound transformations across the most diverse spheres of Argentine society. The objective of this article is to analyze the emergence, victory, and governance of Milei’s administration from a multiscalar and multidimensional perspective. To this end, we examine the changes in the relations of force and the context of crisis and hegemonic dispute at both the global and Latin American levels, outlining a periodization of the regional war of positions in the twenty-first century, before subsequently focusing on the national scale. At this level, we investigate the political, ideological, and cultural dimensions that enabled his electoral victory, and then concentrate on the economic strategy. Likewise, we analyze the strategy of coercion and consensus-building deployed by the government, discussing its scope as well as the fragile economic and social foundations upon which it rests.
