At present, the wine sector goes through a crisis. In response to this situation, subsidies have been given to producers for the last three years for the purchase of semi-mechanized harvesting equipment for shared use. The main aim of this is the increase of the labor productivity.

With the analysis of a case study carried out with a group of producers hit by these policies, this paper aims to describe their approach and strategies to hire temporary labor where we find resistances to use said equipment.

Forms of direct and indirect procurement are differentiated, -we show that both seek stability in labor relations-. We identify practices that could encompass what we call “stable harvest circuits”, as workspaces where agents relate to one another. We emphasize the figure of a social agent in which the role of primary producers and harvest service providers are combined and it is therefore called "productor-cuadrillero".

The above-mentioned description provides insights into the ways of organizing the harvest. We consider it necessary to delve into their specific features for a better understanding of what is intended to change and in which way relationships between social actors and their interests are affected.
